The Business Development Executive is responsible for generating new business by following up on inbound marketing leads, and outbound account research and prospecting. BDE will be accountable for qualifying prospect needs, developing strong prospect interest via phone and online contact.
•Identify and convert new business opportunities with new and existing customers.
•Generate customer leads and the delivery of targeted campaigns to create opportunities.
•Understanding customer requirements and presenting the company value proposition to meet the customer s needs effectively.
•Build and manage a sales pipeline reporting regularly on your individual sales forecast.
•Proven experience consistently achieving sales figures in a Software/ technologies sales capacity.
•Degree in a business/ marketing/ IT related subject desirable.
•Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
•Strong listening skills and presentation skills.
•Strong communicator at all levels, with an ability to present to decision makers.
•Highly disciplined with strong organizational and time management skills.
•Ability to build strong rapport, establish trust and credibility through a consultative approach, and balance assertive sales follow-up without being overly aggressive.
