Vivek Ramaswamy, the Republican billionaire businessman, has officially launched his bid for Ohio Governor.

Elon Musk, CEO of Tesla and SpaceX, reshared Ramaswamy's announcement on social media, offering his full endorsement and wishing him good luck.

Ramaswamy responded to Musk's endorsement with gratitude, saying, "Thank you, Elon. Let’s roll!" showing his enthusiasm for the campaign.

Former President Donald Trump also publicly endorsed Ramaswamy, calling him "something special" and praising his strengths as a young, strong, and smart leader.

In response to Trump’s endorsement, Ramaswamy thanked the former president, saying he was honored and pledged to make Ohio great again.

Ramaswamy promises to bring a new vision to Ohio by reattaching work requirements to Medicaid, eliminating income and property taxes, and implementing merit-based pay for teachers.

As part of his campaign, Ramaswamy vowed that Ohio would be the first state to implement merit-based pay for all public school educators and administrators.

Ramaswamy’s campaign follows his recent departure from the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), a commission he co-led with Elon Musk, focused on cutting federal staffing and spending.

Before running for governor, Ramaswamy was a 2024 presidential primary candidate, later endorsing Trump.

With endorsements from high-profile figures like Trump and Musk, Ramaswamy is looking to bring change to Ohio with bold reforms and leadership.
